DPI isn't all that important rather in game sens. DPI is only important for knowing the optimum performance of your mouse.

mouse-sensitivity.com FTW Paul tell us your in game sens and mouse DPI and I can give you the same setting as me (ultra low sens, big mouse mat, small penis) for awesome aim skillz :D

Assault - Scar-H, ACE23, AEK, Famas
Carbines - AK5C, ACW-R, ACE21 / 52, SG553
Support - MG4, AWS, PKP
Recon - m40, Gol, SRR

are the best weapons both statistically and in typical usage
 
I play with my RAT 5 at 1600, any lower and it can be tricky to track moving targets, particularly vehicles. I do have a sniper button to lower the DPI right down if I am in gunners seat should I need it.
 
1800dpi (I think.... can't check as I had to uninstall logitech software as it was causing mouse to cut out) with in game sensitivity set to 20% iirc. Accuracy is about 18-20%. Although I pre-fire an awful lot to suppress the enemy and give me that small advantage.

Couldn't play with anything lower, FAR TOO SLOW!


Will try to get on tonight for some bf 3 with josh and whoever else and probably have to switch back to bf 4 because Josh will uninstall within 5 mins :p :D
 
BF3 installed, only the vanilla mind. I'll give it a go tonight.

As for how long that will be who knows.

Joe has left the platoon for pastures new, thank god. Platoon admins don't let him rejoin.

Will try with dpi cut down to 400, iirc thats the lowest setting using generic windows drivers on my g500. And give lower sens a try, should raw input be turned on/off?

I thought accuracy was hits registered/shots fired. Therefore what has dpi got to do with anything? Unless it helps control weapon recoil and movement, which depends on people's play style. I can't manage a whole desk length of mouse movement with a low dpi.

What you want with Dpi is what is best for you or what Dpi your mouse works best at. eg the Avago sensor in the Zowie is most accurate at it's max 2300ish dpi, however I use 450 as the red light on the scroll wheel matches my black / red / white build theme. So other things figure too :D

Dpi has nothing to do with accuracy beyond that. It's all about in game sens, hence if you use mouse-ses website you can match up settings with people even with a different Dpi xD

S'ok dude, the door is open to you if you want to come back at any stage.

Yeah reslly enjoy BF3 last night, I was wrong last time I tried, the gameplay is so smooth, fluid and the hitreg works. Enjoyed going back to Bazar and Siene.

Think I'll be on for some more Vanilla tonight.

Just compared to mine and I can't play with that low a sensitivity.
Having to make larger movements with the mouse for recoil compensation I find difficult to do :(.

My 360 degree rotation is: 37.7878cm (400dpi * 0.109767 igs)

how do i test that, sorry to sound a noob but thats lost me,:confused:
