Hi All,

First post here! Hopefully one of many :-)

I'm looking to purchase the following motherboard and case:

  • Gigabyte H87N-WIFI Intel H87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard
  • Intel Core i3-4130 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
  • Impactics C3LH-B Mini-ITX Case - Black
  • Impactics 130W AC-DC Power Supply Adapter

The question is: what coolset would be required for this motherboard and case? Does one actually exist?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Mike

Hi guys, cheers for the response!

If you type impactics coolset into the OC website search, it'll come up with a few heatsink options. The mobo is a gigabyte LGA1150 whereas the only 'coolset' I can see is for a 1155... Plus will the 3.30Ghz i3 run too hot for this type of heatsink?

It'll be used for a home entertainment jobbie... Don't need anything too fancy, just the two HDMI ports on the back of the mobo.

As for the case, it looks amazing so I want it! :)

About £500 so it'll be all that, 4gb ram and an SSD. Plus a couple of monitors!

So any ideas regarding the case compatibility?

Here is a link from Impactics website which states the GI-2 is compatible with the H87N-WIFI board

It seems a bit pricey to me, although it is silent.
