Hey all,

I'm in need of some cheap 2.0 speakers to use when I do not have my headset on. Essentially this is for use when watching TV shows or Youtube etc when I am not sat at my desk.

Does anyone have any recommendations that aren't complete rubbish? Don't need massive volume or bass or anything, just clear midrange for vocals really.

I've an ASUS Xonar DG soundcard if that makes any difference.

Cheers.

Look for some T40's 2nd hand :-) (T20's if on a major budget).

They offer very good midrange and clarity.

Hmmm well I made the mistake of picking up some Logitech Z130 speakers from a well known department store at lunchtime. They are pretty bad!

Will probably return and look into the Creatives.

In the end I did return the Logitechs and got some Creative T20s which do a pretty good job for TV and film. Music is not their strong point though!

I'm now looking for some speakers for the kitchen that I can plug my phone into for Internet radio and music upon it. Are there any other models I should be considering for the same kind of budget? Second hand will definitely give better value for money here.

Thanks mate, I will take a closer look at the Microlab range.

/edit/ the Microlab H30BT look intriguing!
