Devils canyon is calling you mate. :D If you do go Z97 I would not spend as much on the mobo as you did with the formula, the hero or even the ranger will clock just as well as the bling boards.

Heres hoping devils canyon will work on Z87 as im extremely happy with the current mobo, cpu is a bit poor though.

There is a crazy range of motherboard's from some companies. I am waiting to see reviews as there is a rather large price difference between the Gene and other 'gaming' mATX boards.

Want to buy a Gene today haha, but I am talking myself out of it. Especially as I won't have CPU for it until DC launches.

Betcha Asus mess up the Flagships again like current Z87's, the Z68 and Z77 were nicer.

EVGA looks good for a change E-ATX (can use top GPU slot with big heatsinks unlike ATX) and Heatpipes for Cooling in Chipset.

I should not have bought this set up so late on (Jan 2014) as I had a 2700k+Z68 Rog.

ASUS did not mess up this generations flagship boards where do you get this info from. My M6E has lasted the full generation. The same board has won several OC Competitions. Only two weeks ago I qualified for the finals of the GSKILL competition using M6E.

This was my favourite high end Z87 board with the Gigabyte OC being my favourite mid range.

Can I say that oc prices are much better than the rivals and free delivery for forum members win win in my humble opinion :)

In the exact same boat, I knew it was going to be around the £160 mark. But I thought the other boards would be of similar price not the neck end of £40 cheaper. This being my first decent board, I normally spend £40 on a whole board lol.
