Just like everyone else, generally speaking..

I believe it's irrational (and, as history has shown, often dangerous) to support an anti establishment parties, when their main promise is to be "different". They will not be different, politicians are all the same in the same manner in which people are all the same.

:D;) and yet you still get all these brainwashed idiots who still think the politicians care, just look at Labour and Conservatives, they've been getting the vote for as long as I can remember and I'm not exactly young and yet people still think they can deliver for them LOL!!! there must be some kind of hallucinatory drug vapour released into the atmosphere that effects the majority of voters and they think they are intelligent. lmfao :D:D

Could the answer to your dilemma be that those parties kept (some of) their promises? Considering you live better than 95% of the population of this planet, are you by any chance assuming your comfort is the result of your efforts and nothing else? Oh how nice it must be to have such implistic views, defined by rules as such all the bad things happen thanks to politicians while all the good things happen thanks to anything else.

So many leaflets coming through the post for the last god knows how long. I know election is around the corner. But these Lib Dems around my end sure know how to advertise them selves.

No it's not. Seriously, there are many people here that read the Daily Mail and The Sun online judging by the links that are posted of what they think qualifies as "newsworthy" and their comments on such "debates" about immigrants and religion.
Also, look at the average Joe-public, they'll be tripping over themselves to blow Farage whilst waving a St George's Cross.

I've just realised I'm not actually registered to vote down here. I've downloaded the registration form, but I'm guessing I might already be too late for this vote?

It doesn't go on your email address it goes on the postcode you enterered. :p They are all bad and no matter who wins will have to try to put things right... some more than others. UKIP won't help a damn..

Why does anyone do the spoil ballot? They just get thrown in the bin, they don't count for anything whatsoever and means you have just wasted your time.
