So the eu paliment doesn't debate and vote on laws and regulations?

It debates but to get enough votes to do anything worth while they need to form a pact with other countries. There so simply isn't enough euro sceptic MEPs.

As for amendments these can easily be taken out even if they've been voted in by MEPs. MEPs can't even propose new laws or even propose to repeal them. Unelected people do that.

UKIP Majority. OcUK have you gone ****ing mad?

Me.. I will be voting for the Green party, for the first time. Not as a default choice, but as a positive one. Not as a wasted vote, but as a vote that may add to their already significant 45 MEPs and make a genuine difference. Not as a protest vote against the establishment, but as a strong voice of resistance against the politics of hate peddled by so many others.

I'm not arguing. I said go and study and any person would before doing anything.

And to any body saying UKIP are racist, here is what Searchlight Educational Trust, the anti-fascist charity that commissioned a poll found that.

"39% of Asian Britons, 34% of white Britons and 21% of black Britons wanted all immigration into the UK to be stopped permanently, or at least until the economy improved"

" And 43% of Asian Britons, 63% of white Britons and 17% of black Britons agreed with the statement that "immigration into Britain has been a bad thing for the country". Just over half of respondents – 52% – agreed with the proposition that "Muslims create problems in the UK"."

That was 2011. What it is now I've no idea. If you don't like what they say then fill this in

How does it feel to be less common then the LGBT community?

No one that gets constantly branded unfairly, you can't have it both ways CP

The LGBT community. Farage said that gay marriage is a "can of worms". Why is he - or was he if he's now decided that he's changed his mind - against gay marriage? Is he put off by the 1300's definition of marriage?

As I posted contact them. If the anti-fascist charity Searchlight Educational Trust pay for a poll
and you don't like it so you go around calling people names? Grow up.

Anyone but the racist UKIP party.

I always find this claim laughable.

Apparently, supporting the current system which gives mainly white Europeans far more immigration rights than people from other parts of the world (who are mostly non-whites) is not racist.

Apparently wanting a system based on skills (as UKIP claim) is more racist than supporting one based on place of birth.

You couldn't make it up.

I'm not sure you can claim that because the EU is predominately filled with white Europeans that an immigration policy which makes it easy for citizens of those member states to move around is racist.

It's a bit like claiming that an Oxfam appeal to help a bunch of people in Kenya is racist because all the help will be going mainly to black people.

I don't see an issue with a migration policy based on desirable skills, but I do find it pretty funny that people who are most likely second generation migrants now have an issue with immigration. Haul that ladder up!

I don't see where I called anyone names? You seem to have reading dyslexia?

Green party? Good luck owning a pc and wanting to power it with electric in the future then.

one that has that thrown at it daily as the other parties don't have a answer to UKIP's policies.

Argument Ad hominem.
