Lest We Forget......

1000 chickens in one lorry? Do they not know the saying never carry all your eggs in one basket? :p

This made me smile.

Also, on this line of thinking the natural suggestion is individually transported chickens. Little cars for chickens if you will. Of course they'll have to be chauffeur driven to start off with, but once the chickens learn to drive the cars can be downsized.

If a heating element could be built into the cars too then supermarkets can cut out the middleman and the chickens can drive themselves to your house, beep the horn and hit the "cook" button.

What an age.

Some breaking news about the chickens.

A lorry load of chickens overturned on the M62 yesterday, police say it was on its way back from Anfield where Liverpool fans had spent the last 8-10 weeks counting them

I don't see anything wrong with their idea, it's a symbolic gesture consistent with what PETA stands for. Our treatment of sentient animals is barbaric, it won't go on forever and while PETA's stance is laughable now, it won't be in a few decades.

If I am happy to hang a child who murders their teacher, you can only imagine what I think about PETA
