That's more like reality. We obviously have a lot of right wingers on the OCUK forums.

Go Labour ! :D

As usual UK Polling Report is the best place to go for the latest polls. UKIP are behind on voting intention but if you correct by certainty-to-vote UKIP have a lead. This leads to fairly wide discrepancies between the polls based on the methodologies of the various pollsters.

Labour are hardly Left these days... and people seem to have startlingly short memories when it comes to voting for them.

You could be right. I want UKIP to win the lot. That will spice up the system.

Go on I'll bite. UKIP have a track record of not bothering to turn up and do anything other than milk the MEP system for whatever they can expense or vote against things that are in favour of Britain. How will having more of them in the European Parliament spice up the system?

Only problem is it wont spice up anything, all it will do is give the UK 1/3rd less votes when it comes to the big important votes. UKIP may even vote against UK interests just so they can go "oh look what the useless EU is doing to the UK this time"

Am shocked at the amount of people that vote conservative whats wrong with people ? they hate the working class.

I guess your typical rich mummy and daddy uni going bubble living mollycoddled middle classes and above love them though.

Nothing wrong with that they protect your financial interests and a lot of folk vote with their wallet.

Labour proved no better at all.

Are you done trying to insult half the forum?

Labour are still left of centre. My memories of Labour are mostly good. Unlike my memories of the Thatcher years, which were utterly dreadful. ;)

Labour proved no better at all.

I'm surprised people whine about conservatives so much, I think they've done great job fixing labour mess in the worst possible economic condition and most of the working families sailed through last crisis as if nothing happened compared to the rest of Europe.

On a different but related note, James O'Brian (irreformably the reddest of Labour supporters) interviewed Nigel Farage on LBC this morning and tore Nigel's pants to shreds to the point where campaign manager had to intervene and stop the interview live on air. I usually put James O'Brian on my way to work just to up my pressure and keep me awake in traffic as the guy makes my blood boil most of the time, but that interview was spot on, pure facts vs Nigel's bull. Grab yourself podcast peeps - it is well worth the effort.

Bite? As for not turning up, you would have read that every EU member that cannot be there sends another person for the vote.
I(and many others) want out of the EU.
I don't want Mr\Mrs never met telling me what I can and can't do in my own country.
This is why we have a government. The top few of the EU are unelected and do what they want. 76% of our laws are now made in Brussels.
Next the EU will be telling us when to go to bed!

It will show the British people have no confidence in the government or system that we are under.

Well if that statement is true then you are screwed my friend. You've never met Nigel Farage have you ? You've never met any of the leaders have you ? So whoever gets in, will be telling you what to do whether you like it or not.

James O Brian is a leftwing moron I have countered his arguments a hundred times with emails he never answers the point I make to him.

Can a brit for example go to france get a part time minimum wage cleaning job and get £hundreds + a week in in work benefit top ups housing benefit tax credits child allowance etc etc ? no they cant but he just ignores it because he knows it's a one way street and has no argument.

All these people that are anti ukip seem to have one thing in common, bank balance rich parents uni educated they aren't affected by immigrants willing to work 80 hour weeks for min wage with no in work luxurys such as paid holidays sick pay real contracts job security they are beneficiaries from it more often than not.

Like I said they wont care until immgrants are doing their jobs for less money.

Depends on what you define as center:
http://www.politicalcompass.org/ukparties2010

Since the 2010 election I don't think much has happened to Labour or Tories. UKI{ have swung further right and more authoritarian and are practically escaping the top right corner of the graph.

The fact that the Labour party are more authoritarian is precisely why many people prefer the Conservatives.
