Hi all

my set up is in my stig, and I have gone from one windforce 7950 to two of them in crossfire.

On bf4 I would get 60 fps all the time with the odd dip every now and then. with no over clock from what I can remember.

I have just fitted a second one, and in CCC the core speed is now set at 1000 for both cards (i have not change this)

one card is a rev 1 and the other rev 2.

now when I play bf4 I am gett fps of around 40 at its best and the odd 60 when in the air.

what could be causing the performance drop?

thanks
ian

something I have just noticed in msi

under the usage

gpu1 is at 99%
gpu2 is at 43%

msi only shows the temp for gpu1 and not 2 as well.

I've just read a few of the posts. I'm going to take an educated guess and say you have a non boost 7950 and a boost 7950 and the boost 7950 has the throttling problem that plagues every 7950 boost card. If you like i can take a look at the bios for you and edit it for you so the problem goes away. Assuming this is indeed the problem that is.

my first card is a 6+6 pin power, and the new one is a 6+8 pin one.

how could I tell if they are a boosted or non booted version please?
