Arrived over the weekend. A China special LCR/ESR/resistor/transistor. Mainly purchased so I can get a quick test on electrolytic caps but will come in handy for other stuff too.

went down to the local fittings and builders merchant and picked up these:


pretty much every screw that is on a firestorm bar a few not bad for £14 as hpi asks £4.80 for a pack of 10 of one type of screw!
i got 30 of the flat counter sink each and 10 of the bolt head style each,awaiting the round top heads to come in,sadly they had no matches for the washes hpi use.

now being guarded by a vicious trained attack dog of death.....

Pretty much just want a new Enemy Territory for the multiplayer so New order is a hard sell.

On our screens it looks really sweet and it's actually a fun game. It's not a modern shooter nor is the AI very advanced but it's a classic run and gun shooter with some quirky dialogue and gun play reminiscent of id shooters of old (think Doom/Quake etc).

You can get it cheaper than that too can you not? People getting STEAM keys for £20~.
