I haven't heard anything either way, but its the shock factor that made it such major news, otherwise its not really national memorial material - as tragic as it was.

When should we expect the results to start trickling through?

Local after 10pm tonight
EU im not sure if they wait till all countries are done or do them at the same time... That would make sense. so i guess after 10pm Tonight. Usually the first declare before 11.

Cant wait to see whats changing and the media feeding frenzy lol

Why is the flash going off if he's taking a selfie? :D

Well you lot have been banging on about it for 60 pages now, time for some balance?

I think there's been enough mud slung from all directions to not need any more thrown, it's not as if any supporters of any particular party can claim to be blameless here.

Is it true they refuse to have a memorial for fear of raising tensions? im sure i heard that somewhere on FB?

That is something that a local MP suggested as reported by the BBC but as far as I'm aware the official line from the local council said they would only entertain requests made via the Army and since no such request has been made...

I can understand that creating a focal point, however well intentioned, might cause further problems.

I'm not voting again, simple fact that I can't as I have no faith or trust in any party to do right.

The country needs a shake up to be honest. The people who work for this country need to be rewarded and those who don't contribute need to stop being rewarded.

The best way to shake it up is to keep on voting for parties like UKIP. The 'established' parties need a kick up the backside to force them to confront the issues that people want to be confronted - Immigration (should be stopped almost completely), Europe (we should leave but still trade with them) etc etc.

Maybe we should revert to governance by trial by combat!

Get all politicians in an arena chuck some swords in and let the strongest rule us! :D#

You can respect a man/woman who has slaughtered their rivals in a fight to the death :p

Might as well have an Emperor, give the plebs games in the Coliseum, turn most immigrants into slaves and invade Europe….. Suffragium pro me! :p

Yes, because there aren't more important issues such as the stagnating economy, high unemployment, imperialistic Russia or the depletion of natural resources, we only care about a few thousand Bulgarians and having a vote within the EU.

I'll vote later but right now I could flip a coin between conservative and UKIP

The Lib Dems are a complete non entity and will be for the next 8 years.

Labour? Well I watch Ed Milliband get destroyed each week in PMQs, uncontrolled immigration, failed benefit reforms, Len McLuskys mouthpiece.

Greens? - Their stance on nuclear power makes me far more worried for the country than if someone random got in.

Conservatives? The party it's cool to hate. I certainly don't agree with all their policies and labour would never have had the balls to implement changes like benefit caps and spare room subsidy, but they have stood by it, the country is better off, we are making a dent in the deficit and more people are in work.

UKIP - Yeah there are the odd nutcase here and there but you get that in every party. Ultimately you can say that you intend to tackle immigration and all the other EU legislation but you really can't do anything signifficant about it whilst you choose to be ruled by it.

EU will descend into war.
It's not just us who are sick of paying for third rate economies to be propped up by the northern EU nations.

The eastern Mediterranean sea is above the largest proven untapped oil and gas field in the world, enough hydrocarbons to power Europe for 300 years, I'll stick to paying a few quid to Greece and Italy for the bankers fund until the oil companies decide to open up the power.

(I keep a mental list of people I know are going to hold hilarious & unbalanced views on any given subject & know not to take them very seriously)

I bet your mental list matches my software list of ignored posters or at least has a large overlap.
