Looks like GameWorks title Watchdogs has gimped performance on AMD cards according to someone who is undertaking benchmarks. Cheers Ubisoft and/or Nvidia. (whoever is at fault)

Negative scaling in crossfire isn't that uncommon, especially for an unreleased game.

But I don't have high hopes of AMD gaining tons of performance, I was unaware of Nvidia's performance edge, but if it's severe in this, then there's definitely a problem this time around.

Anything said about single AMD cards? Or is this just a crossfire issue?

Btw does anybody know if there is a benchmarking tool in this game?

Also a friend linked me earlier to somebody streaming the Xbox version on Twitch Tv.

Just got this, updating drivers then performance review on its way...

Looking in the settings the only GW feature present is TXAA and HBAO+, neither is selected by default.

No bench tool, at least not in my 'copy' ;)

Thats a shame but cheers :)

From a quick read through the watch dogs thread in pc games, it seems that sli isn't properly utilised either. One user reporting a max of 50% gpu usage on sli 780's.

337.81 on and sitting through the mahoosive intro, which is engine rendered, sitting at 135fps with 95%+ usage on each card. Screenies and in game figures to follow shortly.

Fingers crossed. People don't really have much cause for complain with it not running right before release. If it's still not right after release, then we can shout from the roofs.

Agreed. Felt it was worth posting about after reading his tweets in the OP though. Will see how it pans out. No smoking gun as yet.
