I want, I want! :D

+1 for battery life info, especially if you can compare it to a 1520.

I can't compare it to a 1520, but I've had it off charge since yesterday morning 8am and it's on 28% now. Medium useage.

A colleague that uses a 1520 loves the battery life. My 1020 was good on battery, but so far this thing has been great. Please note however that this isn't public SW, so it's all subject to change.

Had a 1520 for a few minutes, didn't even turn it on. Did the pocket test and decided not for me which was a shame/ Really looking forward to this

Hmmmm...the conversion price on the Amazon France pre-order works out at around £446...I assume the EU versions should hold the same 4G Bands etc so should be fine in the UK for LTE.

Up on Amazon.de also.

Pre-ordered from Amazon.Fr

At the current exchange rate it works out around £449+Del.

Hopefully it comes with the rumoured pre-order bonus but I'll be keeping an eye out as we see more UK pre-orders pop up as I can always cancel.

I always buy sim free and had anticipated it being about £500. Would be great to get those extras. I wish Nokia would say which retailers will have the pre-order bonus as I'd rather get direct from them or someone like the rainforest

Whilst this was raised a while back I thought I'd put my take on it.

Usually with Nokia it's a registration thing, you buy the phone and then register it for the pre-order bonuses as such although I suspect it will be just considered free gifts/bonuses for picking up the phone.

Fully expecting once I get mines it will be a registration thing on their site to get the stuff sent out.

A lot of articles I've seen have made a point of saying there is a wireless charger included in the package but the official site states a normal charger in the box.

Thanks dude. UK pre-orders are starting to open up a little with one retailer doing it for £480. Waiting for the rainforest myself. That certainly clears it up a bit though.

Really cant wait now, desperate to bin my iphone 5

It does look like a pretty nice phone. Really couldn't go with another SD free phone so I went for the 1520 (amazing device) but the 930 is sure to make many people happy.

Indeed I felt the same but I found the 1520 just too big. Which is a shame, if it was the same size as the note 3 I'd have kept it.

Noticed that...I've cancelled my Amazon Fr pre-order so just going to keep an eye out and see what price it settles at in the UK.

Problem I have is trying to justify it, hard to think about letting go of the 1020 :p

I was looking at the 1020 @three store the other day. Nice bit of kit in fairness.

I think this is the problem with Windows Phones though, an upgrade never feels like much of an upgrade :p They essentially all operate very much the same...although the 930 Screen Size + Resolution will make for a better Live Tile experience on 8.1 compared to the 1020.

Decisions decisions...

Right now...I think im happy to wait for the 1030.

They heed to have some sort of recognisable pattern on phone release, improve the release conference and have units available within weeks off announcements.
Oh and they need to sort out phone shops somehow.

Will we get an update one year on, 1020 was released 26 of july. More than happy with my 1320 but a 1030 could change my mind.

And apps. Got most of what I want, one small app developer says he hasn't got enough time to do a WP app though :(, MS needs to offer widely known help for such guys.

FOr the as amazingly happy I have ben with the 920, and upgrade is inevitable, with the 1020 only talked about with the 920 came out, its different this time around, we know at some point soonish their bound to be talk of an upgrade to it, and I just feel that for the difference price I would be getting something really amazing.

I wonder though. The curve ball here is the sale to Microsoft. I hope they establish a good pattern as Glaucus mentions.

That said I am hoping others will innovate a bit now like HTC or Samsung etc

The only issue I could see with the 1020 was it was a bit slow processing pictures, so whilst we may not see the big change we got in the 1020, if the 1030 is faster, it could make a big change to how the camera hamdles those big images.
