I had him with Maestro on (like I do most of my attackers :p). He was really good and his shot was insane but just couldn't wriggle into spaces like Gotze. I prefer NIF Gotze overall. :(

Might get rid of TOTS Lahm and get his TOTY for RB if one ever crops up, don't like Piszczek at all with H/H workrates. Might eventually see a TOTY Ribery as well.
 
The World Cup FUT thing looks quite cool. Does anyone know if you'll be able to trade players? Will there be a separate world cup transfer market? Or will you only be able to get players in packs?
 
If the World Cup UT goes well for EA - I wonder if theyll just remove trading full stop from UT, would pretty much kill off autobuyers/hackers etc, but more importantly for EA any profit that they dont see...

tbh the pack only system seems like a much better system to me as a non pack buyer.

i play with my normal teams and get coins, i use coins to buy packs now instead of players.

i cannot guarantee i will get a certain player in a pack therefore forcing me to use a player i would never of used before.

it also stops people spending loads of cash getting all the top players by simply just buying them with the coins from selling on the crap, they now need to get lucky in packs which is a lot harder to do.

I think the World Cup players will be non-tradable (according to the promo video I saw). However when you buy a Gold World Cup Pack you will get a Regular Gold player pack inside.

Next change is probably LB, just not sure whether to go IF Marcelo or TOTS Luis, both have good standout qualities, but the main difference is Marcelo's massive balance gain over Luis.

but does this not then make the meaning of ultimate team useless as ultimate is all about playing with the team you want etc etc

are you going to buy fifa if you only have a small chance of playing with certain players instead of being able to buy them ?

say you have a team of 8 players you like but need 3 more to fill the team for chem reasons

do you have to open loads of packs in the small hope you will pull one or do you just goto the market and buy him

while fifa is still a money hogging game that hypnotises you to spend on it the market will always be there lol

tbh i think they didnt put the market in this world cup edition cuz they cant even get the market on fifa 14 to work correct the web app is still down

that's not what ultimate team is about though is it?

it's all about using players which exploit/suit the game engine/mechanics rather than the players you would genuinely put in your ultimate team.

e.g. I don't want to use Aubameyang but he is the best striker in Bundesliga for example. I tried Mandzukic and he was just awful in comparison. I would love to try Lew but he's too expensive.

Every team you see is the exact same generic stuff. Pack only would mean you come up against guys like Aubameyang, Silva, Luiz, etc far less often.

You can still build your own ultimate team but your limited by what you find in packs which IMO sounds like a better system in theory.

I would love for them to try it for a full fifa tbh.

No longer would you be up against the same players every time.
