Randomly Bent USB Cable!

So when I left this morning I took my Iphone off my desk and disconnected it from the USB sync/charging cable. And I know for a fact it was fine then.

I get home and suddenly the connector that would fit into the plug is bent and unusable. How the hell?! Nobody was in my room since I left. I know I didn't bash or bend it this morning...

And now I have no charger and my Iphone is at 12% battery power. Guess I'll need to try and order one and leave my phone off till needed in the meantime! *angry muttering* :mad:
