I'm not a happy chap.

Noticed the other day my local Tesco has the Momentum99 Sign up, and I thought GREAT! I don't have to detour 5 miles on my way home from work to stick some nice fuel in the Clio.

So i drive the car around 30 miles after the low fuel light has come on as was waiting for pay day, I get to the pump and low and behold i cant find the 99 pump anywhere. They DON'T HAVE ONE!

WHY TESCO? WHY ADVERTISE IT WHEN YOU DON'T BLOODY HAVE IT?

I spoke to the staff and they said they Never sold it, and no plans to sell it and have NO IDEA why the sign is up.

I didn't have enough to get me to elsewhere for some V so was forced to stick some poop 95 in. (only a little mind until tomorrow on way to work)

I'm going to complain!

I must admit that I thought every Tesco garage would sell Momentum99. Its what I use in my 182 as well.

If you're that tight on cash waiting for payday then perhaps you should save a pound or two and use standard 95.

Very silly that had they sign up though, I would be most annoyed.

Meh, surely you had the fuel to go 5 miles for the V-Power. 30 miles after the light coming on is nothing. Should be a gallon or so left in reserve at least after the light.

Most of my motors of the last few years (the ones with miles to empty anyway) the light comes on between 60 - 70 miles to go. And some of them I have run a good 10-20 miles after it's gone to 0.

That's TESCO.
It's the same in the shop with their big signs saying there is a special offer but there isn't one and the price is in fact rounded up to the nearest pound.

I put enough in to see me through till tomoz night so that on way home I can pop into coventry tesco :)

Which Tesco is this? I live south Birmingham and fill up at various Tesco stores including almost weekly drives to Cov and I've never found a store which didn't have Momentum99

Nearest station to me that sells above 97 is 15 miles in the wrong direction so I let the MPS run on 97 its plenty good enough. All we get is Tesco 97, BP Ultimate 97 and Texaco 97. I very much doubt putting a small amount of 95 will do any damage jus put 99 in next time and it'll be fine. There's no real reason to have a moan at anyone lifes too short to worry.
