Looks to me like the sweeper tool you used has borked something if it says the driver package is already installed. Avoid the sweeper tools and you'll never have a problem like this. Using DDU in safe mode without uninstalling the drivers properly first is a sure fire way to get driver install package errors on your next install. I can reproduce it at will.
 
ok so its borked neither here nor there what i used now, just need to sort it out. Avoiding a full windows installation would be good as i upgraded from 8 to 8.1 and that means it doesnt like my windows key! and i dont want to install 8 then 8.1

You can try repairing your windows installation, but im not sure how that affects your existing files.

Lambchop, Mantle would be great for 120HZ users. Just look at those minimum fps. Who doesn't like high minimum and average fps? Everyone loves those and this is what Mantle users can look forward to. Lets not forget these ridiculously consistent frame times Mantle offers which makes DX11 look and feel like a chore in comparison.

Mantle must be really magical if the min FPS is higher than the average:eek:
 
its odd cause everything installs apart from the sound element. So i cant use 5.1! most annoying which means i cant use XMBC as it stutters because of it.

True. What started as a 'What's Mantle?" thread is now a "Help me get these drivers installed so I can try Mantle" thread ;)

yep :( sure has. Now what to do next... Im downloading a new 8.1 ISO to try and put on a flash drive in order to see if i can repair windows. GOOD OLD WINDOWS!
