I dont mean to offend any of the Halo lore fans but for me Halo has never been about the single player. I've never completed any since the first one..

Its all about the multiplayer. Has only gone downhill after Halo 3. I think with Halo 2 anniversary 343i have a real opportunity to bring back its core fans and entice new players.

All depends on how they implement it- if it still has sprint/ armor abilities/ loadouts, that'll be the end of Halo for me. They messed up with both reach and Halo 4. As soon as we start to see video gameplay/ more details, I'll be making my mind up- buy an Xbox one mainly for Halo/ buy a Ps4. Want a next gen console for Destiny.
 
Halo 2 I thought was fantastic. Halo 3's ending piece was superb driving the Warthog with the Halo theme blaring out was an epic piece of gaming.

I did not really like 4 to me the music made Halo and 4 felt wrong without it.

H2's multiplayer was what kicked XBL off IMO. I just want them to bring that back, just with upgraded visuals. None of this sprinting or perks or weapon drop stuff. Bring back the classic multiplayer

Already told the gf Im crawling into a hole when this gets released. She was abit unhappy but thought it was cute :p
 
That nearly killed me, suddenly that ****ing Hog became a huge un weildy beast that wanted to bounce all over the show!
 
Please not halo 2 anniversary, for its time the multiplayer was incredible (I played something ridiculous like 8 thousand games...) however halo 3's was better.

(never mind the terrible campaign in halo 2 that I replayed in halo 2 pc...)
 
Am I the only one that was a bit miffed that they aren't creating a new engine for Halo 3?

Kinda feels like a cop out.. H1, H2 both new engines with high res textures... Halo 4 could easily be upped from 720 to 1080 and look incredible... but Halo 3 doesn't get the treatment?

Wonder why?
 
Its had treatment but could be engine problems.
I'm blown away buy the package, and every multiplayer! The ad was a nice tie in as well.

I've seen quite a few comments about how good H3's ending was. What made it better than H1 considering that did the whole big Warthog finale dash first?
 
Well every ones saying its a steal at $60 so seems to be normal game price, that's a Cray amount of gaming on one disc.
