New 1080p Far Cry 4 Gameplay Footage Shows Elephant Riding, New Weapons and More

The PlayStation Access Youtube channel posted some brand-new gameplay from Far Cry 4 today, showing off some more of the Fortress Liberation mission that E3 attendees had access to. The gameplay gives you a glimpse at some of the new weapons in the game, and of course, elephant riding. Check out the footage below and tell us what you think in the comments below:

I'm really looking forward to this. I didn't think I would at first - Himalayas? Pfft, boring. But the scenery they have shown is spectacular. And yes, the elephants!

I liked FC3 but I found the co-op missions the best so I'm looking forward to trying that on the PS4 especially as it allows you to play with friends who don't own the game.

pfft, my elephant ride in the Himalayas wasn't like that! Unrealistic! lol

I did have to run away from a Rhino on foot though but didn't think to pretend I was far cry at the time. Missed opportunity for real role play!

Quite like the look of the game. Enjoyed FC3 - looks like more of the same but the location interest me so be a nice place to explore

Far Cry 4 Dev: The Game We Show Is The Game We Ship

I think it’s basically an idea that we could get everything running as soon as possible on consoles. On Far Cry 3 we really kinda led on PC and the consoles came in much much later, whereas very early on this time around, like today, everything is running on PS4 so we have the game as it’s gonna look. It’s already running on the hardware and it allowed us to push and understand what we’ll be able to ship, so that we are not selling bull**** to people.
