Got the family coming around to watch the match on Thursday ....they fancy some 120" surround sound projector action...

Any ideas on nibbles etc... That are Uruguayian?:p

Snacks are bad. You should encourage them to eat a wholesome dinner together before joining you and then not tempt them with random upper body limbs - even if they are coated in tasty fat, sugar and salt.

MMMmmm...

Do you know any of these people? I mean it would be absurd if you didn't know the things which your family like to eat, wouldn't it?

I spend every Sunday afternoon/evening with around 12 family members where we have a 3 course meal and then a quiz and I haven't got a clue what any of them like that is Uruguayan.
I'm amazed that you do know what Uruguayan stuff your family eats.

i just checked and see uruguay are playing england. why on earth would you want to watch that?

Because he's a proper man and not a big girl.

i had a quick google and apparently, this is the national dish...

Chivito is the name of a sandwich-style national dish in Uruguay, and consists primarily of a thin slice of filet mignon (churrasco beef), with mozzarella, tomatoes, mayonnaise, black or green olives, and commonly also bacon, fried or hard-boiled eggs and ham. It is served in a bun, often with a side of French fries. Other ingredients might be added into the sandwich such as red beets, peas, grilled or pan-fried red peppers, and slices of cucumber

remove the eggs and olives and it sounds pretty damn tasty. :)
