Expecting this to be fairly average, but it does at least look a heck of a lot better than that other PoS Hercules effort.

If it's set in and around Greece, then surely they should've called it Heracles. Hercules is the Roman's name for him.

Yeah because when it comes to marketing a film you have sunk millions into, its a good idea to call it by a name that people aren't quite so accustomed to?

I think the rock was the best choice but from the trailers it does not look as good as I was hoping.

Looks like a blend of 300 and the abysmal Clash Of The Titans remake.
Looks like they're re-using sets from the original CotT and some from Conan 1982, while using the crew of Conan 2011.

The Rock also looked more like Kevin Sorbo in some of those shots!!

Best Hercules ever was Nigel Green in Jason and the Argonauts!!

I like The Rock, but some of his movie choices are really bad. I'd love to see him do well in the action genre like Arnie, but he just hasn't had the right type of movie yet.
