Why it is that all if not most long term unemployed people/households have Sky HD TV?

You know the type, the people who are making a life on benefits, not necessarily people who have found themselves on JSA due to loss of job.
 
What else do you expect them to do all day long apart from watch sky and hump one another?
 
And top of the range phones, cigarettes, money for alcohol, nights out... Baffling isn't it.

Give them vouchers so they can only buy what they really need.
 
I tell you what, this is a ground breaking revelation and something that must have flown under the radar before, have you called the Daily Mail?

Haha well if you give someone £70 a week in JSA unless you follow them around or give tokens they are going to cut corners and buy crap horse burgers for £1. What it is with working tax credits going to people with jobs who can afford to go on holiday?


Should you not be staying here and giving back the tax credits? Oh wait middle class theft does not count right? It is impossible to buy fags booze food and sky for £70 a week. Do the maths and stop reading stories made for gullable dumb idiots.
 
We could send them all to Antarctica, this would then free up cheap homes for workers, NHS would get better, night time would be safer and many other good things would happen. Win win if you ask me
 
To be fair like, walk through most deprived areas and you will see an abundance of satellite dishes so the op does kinda have a point.
 
They might have a skydish (prob before they moved in) and got a cheap skybox off facebook etc for about 10 quid and use it as a freesat box. Ever thought of that?
