Just set it to start when you boot windows, much easier.

The one time I didn't have it running I was parachuting down onto a flag on one of the Naval Strike Rush maps and managed too lob x2 c4's into the roof opening on a bunker and killed 7 people, was screaming to Tony Turbo how epic it was, the kill feed was all me.

Gutted was not the word as I was still above 50 feet above them.

Lesson learnt.

Shadow play makes my game stutter every 5 mins or so - even when its not recording. I have it writing to a single Vertex 3 which is not in use - I use a Samsung 540 Pro for C and another Vertex for games so not sure what it is but I had to turn it off in the end. Shame, because when it's running there is almost zero overhead.

You running the Nvidia driver from a couple of weeks ago (the watchdogs optimised one)? I had crazy bad stuttering from that, so much so trying to play levelbf last weekend was a nightmare!

Rolled back and had no drama since then.

Thanks for the advice. Just thought it was screwed up that i got it when I was not recording.

Pity GeForce experience is such and awful pos program... lol

I do love when it decides to 'scan for games' then basically kills the computer, all because there's a new geforce driver out and I stupidly opened the app thinking it would allow me to just click download/update driver.

Clearly you have never been an MOD Civil Servant.

I have no work that needs to be done today, everything for tomorrow needs to be done on the day. I start early smash out what needs doing prelunch and that leaves me the pm for non time critical things.

My job is easy.

@Sasso - Yeah I know. I'm sorry!

@Wndsr - we're you recording? I'd like to see how you've managed to tame the monster that is the AEK

AEK isn't too hard to tame, IIRC it kicks up and slightly spreads to the right which you need to take into account on longer bursts - there is a trick to bursting it for longer range shots but its something you need to get a feel for yourself really rather than someone else try to demonstrate it. The rest is just muscle memory.

Not good. Needs some Leaning.

Do you even shadowplay?:D

How do YOU use SP? Do you;

1. Manually start a recording at the beginning of a round

2. Record using SP function itself which records a set amount of historical minutes?

If #2

3. What amount of time do you set it to? 5 mins? 30 mins/one round-ish?

I like having SP available tbh but I have only really used it to shadow-record epic SRAW shots

Usually I just begin recording at round start, then cancel recording at round end. Rinse and repeat.

I have never used it to record a full round, I set it to record the past 2 mins gameplay for moments when I do something epic. May start to do a full round now and again.

Dunno if I cba rendering and editing it all though.

And wndsr, get a job then tell me about "always work to be done"...:D

what size hd you got ?

if you got 2 and over a 1tb just use fraps.

Fraps is horrendous. My frame rate drops significantly when using that.

I store all the videos on my second 2TB hard drive then whack it over to my NAS.

I think that is the leaned out version, notice the lack of coffee breaks/fillups.

Ha. So much wasted time. There is always work to be doing. Paid for X hours work, do X hours work!

Fair enough. I have gone down to 1 minute now as 2560x and 60FPS was creating 5GB files. Not bothered as I have a 2TB drive. Mainly for SRAW shots

I'll swap it to 5 mins I think. The problem is that for true killstreaks 5 mins isn't going to be enough and stopping to hit ALT+F9 is a temp killer
