24: Live Another Day

Jack killed the fewest people on Day 1 (10).
Jack killed the most people on Day 6 (51).
Jack killed the most people in a single episode in "Day 6: 5:00am-6:00am" (13). This is more than in the entire of Day 1.

Jack hasn't killed anyone in this yet o_o

This has been so much better than i expected it to be, no confusing plot with too many plot points to figure out and the action has been a grade aswell.

Hopefully it continues to pull in good numbers and this can become and annual thing.

I never watched 24: first time round.
My god, good stuff!

Just binge watched seasons 1-3 .

Bauer must drink a lot of red bull .

Part of me hopes they turn Kate into a badass and she becomes the main character for future seasons if it makes it past this one. Jack is great and all but it's mostly just nostalgia for the early seasons and the more i see Yvonne Strahovski on screen the better.

Bit of a shame for Kiefer really as i can't see him having much success outside of 24. It's just so hard to not expect him to go all Jack on people now. Touch didn't do him any favours, especially when they threw Renee into the mix in one of the episodes. He's well and truly typecast unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

He does fairly well in some older stuff like dark city, probably end up following in his dads footsteps and cast in similar type of roles as he gets older.

"You need to find a computer with a 4G connection to upload the data..."

And they were talking about sockets again. The technobabble has not improved! :p

I noticed the IP that Chloe provided was something like xxx.7xx.xxx.xxx....

Really basic mistakes.

If you're going to put tech stuff in the script, at least get someone to proof it first.

Apparently the IP addresses are done like that on purpose! I think it was during season 2 or 3 they learned that mistake - millions of people trying to access some poor server :p

Yup its unfortunatly done on purpose as its quite jarring to someone who has half an idea as to what an IP should be.

7 episodes now, still meh.

Only 5 to go and i say again, the series is far too short for it to develope any meaningful story !

Normally I let the small thing slip and even if went completely **** up for the remaining episodes I will still love 24 but........

The first missile destroyed a huge country estate, the second took out part of a hospital, the next took out a parking space, then part of an alley and finally the last took out the empty car. Massively varying payloads or lazy writing. Also - how did Navero's guy make such a bad shot when he had such an advantage (surprise, vantage point etc)?

Kate offering the little girl a ginger beer was hilarious, half-expected her to pull a crumpet out of her pocket too. Jack then managed to somehow find a LHD US-model car to race through London.

Also seems absurd that the US President is getting irked with the Prime Minister for intervening in an operation which is playing-out on British soil, all because the US drones are about to decimate London anyway. As I said before, this whole British setting really hasn't changed the feel of the show at all, it's still hugely US-centric. It'd have been more interesting if they'd had Jack working more alongside (or in spite of) the Brits instead of just making us out to be blubbering idiots.

Still though, it's 24 so it's fun to watch.

When Michelle Fairley finally sneaks up on JB, and she will, I'll be shouting "she's behind you" to the TV.

Completely stupid, but enjoyable, rubbish.
