EVGA GTX 770 thoughts?

I play at 1080p as well and im very happy with my EVGA 770, it eats up everything i play are good frame rates and I got it on release for a lot more than that.

Mine is the single Bios version of the ACX SC, It OCs reasonably well (cant remember the numbers but i remember being happy with the end result).

What did you get in the end? 770 or 780.

I have the 680 overclocked to abit higher than 770 stock speeds and honestly I don't think it will last another year with high settings and 60+ FPS, If that's what you aiming for of course

Yea, ordered this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-114-GI

It should do the trick alright and plus it's got 3GB so titles such as GTA V might take advantage of that. So I'm hoping it will give me a bit more future proofing. It's not a bad price either really. I expected to spend more if I'm honest as I know I'm terrible and spending more than I should.

I hope so mate. But I might have shot my self in the testy as nvidia could pop up with a new range tomorrow lol.

Nah, not gonna happen for quite a few months. The best nVidia will do is release mid range Maxwell for the next few months and then the big guns come out on 20nm after Chrimbo. I am guessing Feb/Mar time.

Aces, I'm good for the moment then lol.

Still, let's hope my 670 arrives at evga and then I can sell that when it gets back.

If you want to overclock a 770 I would go for the dual BIOS version of ours because you can flash on the second BIOS whatever you want to and we do also offer BIOSes with advanced fancontroll and higher power target for this model but looks like it is too late now..

Ah, bugger, yes, too late. But had I gone the 770 route it would have been EVGA.

In fact, this is the first card I've bought since starting PC gaming since I was young that isn't EVGA...

Came in for advice about a 770. walks away with a 780... Good man!

I'd only consider swapping my cards for 780's or above.
