Has anyone else noticed these girl gamers on twitch? I'm talking about the ones that dress in little to nothing and dress up in cosplay.

You'll only find these girl gamers on the chanels with the biggest audiences like call of duty and battlefield..

One in particular has made a youtube video that claims that she is a professional girl gamer, she tries to prove this by saying that she has a high end pc because it has a 1000w power supply and 3tb hard drive.
Also, she says that she has been playing games since she was a baby... she could even remember 10 games that she played the most. These were - Mario, Zelda, mario party 1, mario party 2, mario party 3, mario party 4.. so on.

I mean come on! Don't people have any sense of morality any more?

So where does the moral aspect fit in to anything you've said? As it seems more like you're having a moan that she doesn't know what she's talking about with how she has attempted to classify what a "high end" PC is.

I remember when Twitch was about gaming, now most of the popular streams are screaming teens or softcore porn.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

By dressing provocatively in hope to be given money?

There's many reasons why it's appealing...:

The obvious sex interest.
"Oh a girl that likes the same things as me/she likes video games! :D."
Can directly "talk" to her through chat, fills sense of isolation/loneliness.
"Grill gamer" often portrayed as having no active, on going relationship, gives desperate viewers sense of hope.

It can get ridiculous as times, obvious exploiting the fact that they know they can drag in countless numbers of desperate people just trying to feel some sort of connection by playing the most current casual main-stream games with their boobs plastered across half of the screen.

Yes, but why is that immoral? It has nothing to do with poor morality, so I am interested in how you have linked the two.

Twitch should be for genuine people who want to share their gaming experience with other fellow gamers.

But you have these people that come onto the site to abuse it and use it for all the wrong reasons.

They don't care about games, they only want money.

How is this not immoral?

Was that Raychul? if its the one I'm thinking of she has a huge collection of gaming collectibles she claims to have built up herself but most of them belong to or atleast used to belong to a producer from Activison, though she plays and shows off a range of games that aren't from any one publisher.

I do like the little manipulations they use like casually dropping in some technical critique details about the effects or textures, etc. while reviewing a game as if they have half an idea about the development side to build up a connection to people like well a gullible and needy/lonely version of me and get them coming back, not so easily taken in by it myself.

Not really sure how morality comes into it though.

Yeah it's the main thing that annoys me about twitch (after the crappy muisc usually playing in the bacground) that these girls with low cut tops get lots of viewers. Blame them, blame the viewers.

It's like Babestation basically. Some guys donate loads of cash for a small amount of female attention. Some girls make a living from it.

It seems like you think that because you don't like it, that it's in poor morality, that isn't how it works.

It's got nothing to do with morality that some people are using it for reasons you don't like (you're claiming the reasons are wrong). They are providing entertainment to others, no one is getting harmed, no one is being forced to do anything they don't want to do. Get over it, because if they have viewers then it obviously shows people want to view that. If you don't like it, don't view it.

I find it more bizarre with the amazon wishlists and the paypal links. the girls get bought an obscene amount of items

me and the girlfriend were joking around saying she can wear a tiny top and I'll play the games she can just pretend she's playing and we can make a nice long amazon wishlist.

They are often annoying but there is a sense of irony in all this.

The same bunch of SJW hacks who whine about sexual inequality in games and the objectification of women seem to have no problem with 17-20 year old girls showing their pink parts on the internet for cash.

At least strippers have the dignity to be under no illusions what they are doing.
