My headphone stands are my wife's GHD boxes. I refuse to pay the prices they ask for stands these days!

Spending £50-£100 on a headphone stand is madness.

Mine cost something like £4.50 out of asda as is a "coffee mug stand"

As for the stand I have a silly expensive £70 one, I don't mind though because I will have it for 20+ years so it's only like £3 a year which doesn't even get you a pint. Yeah, man maths!

my setup

PC -> Musical Fidelity V-DAC -> NAD C 316BEE -> Wharfedale Diamond 122 or Sennheiser HD650s

I also got Beyerdynamic DT770s that I use at my internship and a pair of sennheiser IE7s.

Note the "real" Q701s, not Chinese ones

It's a Zu Audio cable, I didn't like the bright green stock one.

I'm using a Morrisons banana stand. Cost about £3!

I don't think there is anything wrong with spending a little extra to get something that you think looks good on your desk.
Plus having a bit more headband support than a banana stand or mug tree helps keep it nice in my opinion.

Cheers Ryan, just messing with the China thing, although I would be a bit annoyed if I paid full price expecting Made in Austria.

Nothing at all against Made in China, been looking at Auralics offerings.
