This gen i have had a few titles from e.a and i have to say i dont think i have played one yet where it runs as it should

From fifa to battlefield to need for speed every one of these has spectacular problems raging from unreliable servers to ingame errors that make it unplayable .

fifa has more complaints about bugs and servers than any other yet what have ea done about it NOTHING they are just working on fifa 15

need for speed another game that needs patches to make it playable and nothing has been done

battlefield should have been goty but ended up a buggy mess and what did ea do , instead of patching it they are releasing hardline which is basically what bf4 should have been .

how have ea managed to get away with this , you would be able to get a refund if this was an electrical item as it would be not fit for purpose. ?

its so hard to contact them aswell it seems any form of contact direct with them is hidden amongst menus and those stupid have you tried this pages you have to run through.

sorry for the rant grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Money is why the don't care as long us muppets keeping buying the **** they make they don't care.

Want to play football with all kits, player names, NHL, Madden NFL? EA. Did want to play COD, yet still play a game similar? Try Battlefield 4...EA. I despise EA but they have the rights to the sports games I play. The sooner this changes, the better.

EA are a HUGE company though with a lot of shareholders who well want money. At the end of it they are a business they are there to make money. If you can please the customer while doing so great but that becomes more and more difficult when you are a developer, marketer, publisher and distributor of games. It's easier to rant at them because they have so many IP's in the field.

I'm not saying any of this is right, but if you feel so strongly against them just don't buy their games. It's amazing how many people do complain about EA and yet still go on buying their games month after month, year after year.

People should challenge their decisions... After all, they did encourage me to "challenge everything" all through my childhood.

EA are like Michael Bay.

Just release crap after crap but it obviously sells so why would they bother to change when that could risk losing business.

Just don't buy them. I know all you football fans will get Fifa as there isn't anything else - but looking ahead, I don't think I'm buying an EA game any time soon. So people just have to stop paying them money.

Quality Control in gaming is becoming extinct all over though - I don't think it's just EA.

Some of the garbage that gets released as an actual product is unbelievable. Some of them are so bad, it'd be like paying Audi £30k for a new car and getting a steering wheel, some pedals and the odd wheel. 2 years later you might have something that you can get off the driveway.

It's always been pretty bad - but the bad iss becoming the norm now rather than an oddity.

It's really simple, stupid gamers, nothing else.

They make these games, they find they make them cheaper, with less care and without bothering to fix them and..... people still buy them. Why would you put more money and more time into making better games.... when roughly the same number of gamers buy them anyway.

Why do people buy a new Fifa every year.... with basically the same everything but a few updated names, no idea, particularly when the bugs and lack of care increases every year. You're for the most part paying for very minor updates yet paying for a full price game rather than what is effectively a DLC update(on most occasions) to an existing game.

If gamers stopped buying crap games, EA would build better games, they have precisely no incentive to do so when they can spend less and people buy the games anyway.

Although familiar to BF3, but BF4 remains a visually and sonically satisfying, reliably intense FPS. Improved by Commander Mode and a terrific and diverse map set. 84% Verdict (PC Gamer)

Still a brilliant shooter that bursts with new ideas
No trade-offs in terms of maps, guns or headcounts
Just about disguises the age of the hardware
Enjoys the same high quality networking support
9/10 (Totalxbox.com)

And it’s a leap you need to make the second you acquire that half-matte, half-shiny black box. FIFA 14 is one of the few launch games to have evolved in ways that aren’t solely graphics-based, and every one of its changes brings clear, distinguishable improvement. This is an essential day one purchase and – quite literally – the football game you’ve waited generations for. 9/10 (essentialplaystationmag)

Summary: Madden NFL 25 unleashes the power, precision, and creativity of the NFL running-back. Whether you’re a slashing tailback, dual-threat QB, or ball-hawking safety, unleash thirty new moves and string together devastating combos with the all-new precision modifier in Madden NFL 25. 80 (Metacritic)

These aren't sloppy scores/reviews. The hype support for these products from the press is ridiculous! According to them, these aren't **** games :-(

Well the gaming press are self serving, they cannot publish bad review scores because devs will cut them off, that then means they miss out next year as they know that site/publisher gave poor reviews.

We'll never see an honest review/preview/write up of games.

The FIFA and BF threads are some of the most popular ones in this section of the forum year after year. Either people are just complaining at how bad the games are or they are actually enjoying them.

I don't buy games because of publishers and have no feeling for EA one way or another. I like Battlefield because it's Battlefield.

Because BF and Fifa have a big core of players who will buy those games on release, regardless how broken they are.

BF4 was broken for many people on release last year, and was still broken for many people when they announced a 'new' full price version will be released this year. The ' new' game is just the same dross as BF4 with a few tweaks here and there.

So, it looks like BF can be added to the list of their yearly dross releases.

I was stupid enough to buy BF4 and Fifa 14, but I will not consider buying another EA game until they start developing them properly and provide better post sale support.
