you are forgetting that some peadophiles have been known to be attracted to adults aswell and even marry, not just to have children and abuse them though.
 
It's also strange because from everything I've heard, most images aren't exactly new, they're all sharing the same old stuff that's been about for years. Of course it still gets made but it's a massive simplification to say that everyone who has a sexual attraction to children is harming them.

So would you say that a paedophile who doesn't abuse children themselves and who doesn't look at child porn but masturbates to their own thoughts and drawn images should be punished for something?

Now you're spinning words. I never said they don't think about children. I only point out there are those that recognise they have an attraction to children and seek help, rather than just "gratify" themselves, to borrow your choice of phrase.

Yes because people masturbate to non pornographic things all the time, as distasteful as it is who is being harmed if a paedophile masturbates to cartoon image or by thinking about some child they saw on the street?

No, you're stating that all do, in the first. You need to provide citation for that, which you haven't.

Citation to the contrary is having a search for "non-offending paedophiles" on Google. Thousands of results. Certainly busting your stance that all paedophiles harm. NFW I'm doing any kind of search like that whilst at work.

You asked for one from me I gave it and then you got butt hurt and called 'selection bias' which was ridiculous. So far your argument seems to be that you know there are paedophiles who never abuse and never look at child porn. Ok. Demonstrate this. Because I do not believe you and until you back up this claim with evidence, I'll continue to not believe you.
