hi looking a recommendation for a gpu to run crysis 2 and cod 4 mordern warfare? im currently only using intel hd 4400 graphics and looking a cheap gpu to run the above games thanks

something around 40-50 at most im a light gamer atm so dont want to be spending to much plus i dont have too much to spend lol

Yeah, you're looking at something around the used 5870/6950 price range or maybe you can squeeze a 7850/70 if you catch a bargain.

no problem thank you what games can i run on hd 4400? i know it runs counter strike as i play it all the time now but graphics seem very basic for it

Not sure tbh mate. I know that I could happily run Mass Effect 2 @720p on a HD3000 (2500K) if that helps. Not tried anything more than that apart from BF3 for a laugh (was a slideshow ).

yeah i tryed running call of duty on 4400 graphics and it wasnt too nice was really slow and laggy and crysis 2 was really bad think its time to get a new graphics card!

Second this, it also will not need much PSU power to run it and at your res + games you play 1GB VRAM is enough.

A 5870 is faster, but you can't buy them brand new I suppose...

Use one of these to connect to a Molex or two on your PSU http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-018-AK

The GPU MAY come with such an adapter. if not its three and a half quid.
