I did understand the point you was making, but when it comes to law things and in the eye of the law, they have to fellow stuff to the letter.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but these days the law doesn't discriminate between real children and drawing/depictions of "children", even if they are not human.
A "reasonable person" only has to be believe that the drawing depicts a minor for an offense to have been committed (the depiction has to be of a sexual nature).
This means that drawings of alien children from the Star Wars universe would be a criminal offense, under current UK law.
Not sure that a case has ever gone to court *purely* over such drawings, however.
Not sure what the alien children from Star Wars universe you are talking about, but the law is aimed and covers full blown out pornography and not "eechi" stuff that you will see me posting.
Though, I be honest, I have read the law and been part of many debates among other anime fans about it and it's still very hard to understand and not very clear how it relates to Anime and Manga.

Is there any evidence to prove not? Clearly, humans wasn't meant to replicate with the same sex otherwise we would be hermaphrodites with both female and male parts as well as a female reproduction system.
Pedophilia and homosexuality is as old as each other and has been practiced as far back as each other. Only a 80-100+ years ago, it was common for older men to be married and have arranaged marriages to young teens.
Our own history in the westen world with the Royal Families are full of "under" age marriages.
Then there is the whole third world states where it's still practiced today, mostly islamatic countries, their prophet consummated their marriage when she was 10 and they got married when she was 6. Back then it was accepted. You could say that muslims worship a pedo.
I should say, am not against homosexuality or anything, I personally don't care what people do among themselves.
