Congratulations - you've just won the Euromillions

I'd be the most boring millionaire ever. I'd keep exactly the same car and possessions but would buy a larger house. I'd still work at the same place and keep running my business. I enjoy my job and colleagues and see no reason to quit and sit at home, buy crap and live a boring life.

I wouldn't do anything...
Well I would quit my job buy a better car and a house but that's it.
Would spend the rest making a epic theater setup and a boss gaming room.
The rest would just be sitting there for when I need it.

To be honest I'd probably donate the bulk of the winnings to worthy causes and just carry on with my life

Secretly collect, only tell the missus no other family. Quit my job after a month or two, pretending to everyone that I have got another job that pays a lot more and involves travelling. Then with my new found wealth from my 'job' enjoy my life new life of freedom and help family and friends, and charities.

i'd not tell anyone if i won...or i'd tell a very select few. Just carry on with life as it is, but turn up with new clothes all the time.

I don't think I could not work...i'd get bored...plus I just got a new job. I'd deffo setup my own business or two though, one to do with online gaming for sure! I'd do my dream of setting up an e-Sports organisation too.

but for fun... kit out an aston martin for destruction derby....you can fill the rest in ;)

Firstly I would tell no one until the money is in the bank. Then I'd take the fiancee out and tell her, discuss how we will approach it.

Ideally I wouldn't want anyone to know apart from her, so we would need to come up with a story on where the money is coming from. Maybe say I got an inheritance and invested in property, keep quiet for a year and say the money is coming from me buying/renting property and I've been successfull at it.

Next steps after the story is cemented would be to buy a plot of land and design/build a house of our own.

I'd then travel the world, see everything that I've dreamed of. Buy property in the places I love the most.

After a few years id start/buy a company that someone would manage on my behalf and give jobs to friends/family and make sure they are looked after. I'd then filter money to family friends to make sure they are well off.

Lastly, invest. Try and make sure the money would never run out for my future children etc.

I think I would pay to finish the house, get an extension and the attic converted, car for the wife and one for me and invest the rest in a savings or something. I'd also take a holiday to Japan and then Turkey to see family. Possibly a few lenses for my camera and a custom WC loop for the PC.

You must have a pretty sweet house if you'd finish renovating it after winning tens of millions! :p

After a few months of this you will probably begin to tire and even get a little bit bored so you need a project, something to get your teeth into when you feel like it, but not something that ties you down like an actual job.

What business would you set up (or buy out), what would your level of input be and why?

Just reminding people what this thread was supposed to be about,
many are still trotting out the same thrilling "house/car/holiday" plans :(

I'd fund an alternative energy research department at a decent engineering university.

With cheap, clean energy mankind can accomplish just about anything... Including putting the planet back to the state it was in before overpopulation started to clog the oceans with plastic and air with excessive greenhouse gases.

I'd learn to fly, going through the full course of ratings and what not before looking at landing myself a job as a pilot, perhaps on freighters as opposed to passenger planes. The cargo doesn't complain as much you see.

Copy this guy's lifestyle, any other answer is simply wrong
