Jesus, Germany attack a bit and the defence/ midfield completely switch off, need two brilliant last ditch tackles to prevent a counter attack turning into something very bad for them.

Schurrle dive? followed by a golden chance he blasted at the keeper :(
 
Need to get Hummels off, just then even last man and letting him run through he just had nothing in his legs there to even run 5 yards to attempt a block. Player could easily have run at goal and made the angle better, he's dead on his feet.

This stupid defence, play really high, even though it doesn't help them, and the most flat footed, standing square on, slow to get started defensive line I've seen, bizarre tactcs.

Once the ball goes forward, they just don't need two slow and tired CB's on the half way line to help with the offence, they don't help, just sit 20-30 yards further back and they'd have run a hell of a lot less in this game. Utterly no need, they aren't bursting forward like Puyol or Pique like to do, they aren't pickign out key attacking passes, they offer nothing on the half way line they can't offer 20-30 yards back. The only thing it's doing is leaving them more vulnerable and making them more tired.

Imagine being the player in the whole competition that scores a single goal in the final which wins the world cup. How amazing would that feel!
