It was one of the only quick attacks Germany tried all game and shockingly, it meant the Argentinian defence wasn't set and ready for them. First time they got the ball and burst forward down a wing, first time two defenders went over to try and deal with such a run, and left space in the middle as a result.
Great control and finish, but Germany, like Holland, just didn't attack with pace in the entire game till pretty much that attack. Germany could have murdered them if they attacked at speed all game.
