Voice your opposition to the Israeli actions for the past 65+ years

The Israeli's don't care about 150+ dead civilians including dead babies, so going on a march to their embassy seems fairly pointless. You may as well spend your Saturday doing something productive/enjoyable.

While the people are at it, they may as well voice their concern at the following conflicts in which innocent men, women and children are being butchered:

and so on.

#solidaritywithhumanity no?

People are bored with Syria and Africa now. 'Zionist' is a much cooler sounding word to throw around.

You'd have thought they'd be bored of Zionist nutters too, after all it has been over 60 years or is there something different here...

Israel is not a barbarous country, it's argueably the only civilised country in the Middle East. The things they do to protect their society may be immoral sometimes but, given their situation, I believe they are necessary.

Right so declaring a Jewish state in some one else land, killing/kicking out all none Jew's is not barbarous behaviour? yea good old Zionists they don't even follow the Jewish religion they are just as bad as Al Qaeda, Boko haram, ISIL.

no they didn't they used the exact same smoke munitions we do.

White phosphorous is not simply a 'smoke munition'. It can be used as such, but can also be used a a chemical weapon to kill. Our use of it in Iraq is just as contentious but irrelevant here.

The Palestinians elected a government in name only. The reality is they have no government, there is no rule of the law, no order, just pure chaos. After all these years, they are unable to show any sign of progress and, although I feel sorry for them and for their loss of lives, I don't think Israel should be blamed for all of the Palestinians' shortcomings.

It's difficult to build a stable nation when your borders have been pushed significantly throughout history & have had a huge conflict without the benefit of large scale US aid.

Israel is only a civilised nation if you happen to be Israeli/from a nation they approve of, how Muslims are treated there is hardly what I'd call civilised.

Not really, some are people are perfectly consistent in their criticism of injustice used by those in a position of power.

I've seen just as many posters make posts about the "Horrors of Islam!" under the guise of caring about innocents - but then don't give a hoot when the people being oppressed are Muslims.

Not all arguments have a good & bay guy, it's possible for all solved to be in the wrong in a varying degree.

War = collateral damage. Innocents always die in conflicts.

This conflict is no different to ANY other in history. Don't forget that this latest round of carnage was triggered when Palestinians kidnapped 3 Israeli boys and brutally murdered them.

It was disgusting behaviour but has there been any evidence presented that it was Hamas? No

If your talking about history lets see the IDF in action before those 3 Israelis were murdered.

If you want to remember further back than few weeks, months, or even years, try to remember the origin of the conflict : When the U.N and colonial master ( Britain) decided to give away land, even though they promised the Arabs the right to self rule.

UN Charter is considered a “law-making treaty”, the United Nations itself is not an international legislature that can make laws or pass legislations. The United Nations had no business offering the nation of one people to the people of many nations. Its General Assembly had neither the legal nor the legislative powers to impose such a resolution or to convey title of a territory; Articles 10, 11 and 14 of the UN Charter bestows the right on the General Assembly merely to recommend resolutions.

Well that just goes to show you have no idea what you're talking about then doesn't it.

You do realise that before the 3 Israelis were killed, several Palestian youths had been killed? So you might as well say that the latest escalation was caused by that.

But in reality, there was something before that, and something before that. In general though, the Palestinians will keep fighting whilst their land has been stolen and they are being blockaded (as you would do if the same happened to you).

Israel is a terrorist state. It was established on massacring indigenous people and kicking them out of their villages 66 years ago to establish a Zionist state, end of story. They need to stop the occupation and allow people back to their homes, this is the only solution as any other doesn't acknowledge the fact that Israel had no right to steal somebody else's land 66 years ago, regardless of how much the international community tries to look the other way on this FUNDAMENTAL point, that is at the core of this long-lived conflict.

Edit: I'll be attending the demonstration tomorrow in London.

What about the unlawful killings that Islamist terrorists do every day of the week? I think they killed 300 men women and children today in Nigeria alone.

Religion should be banned.

I'm not talking about religion I'm talking about Palestine/Israeli conflict. If you want to about "Islamist Terrorists" nut jobs in Nigeria they do not follow the teaching of Islam,go read the Quran see it for yourself here are just a few quotes of what Islam teaches during times of war.

“Do not kill any child, any woman, or any elder or sick person.” (Sunan Abu Dawud)

"Do not practice treachery or mutilation.(Al-Muwatta)

“Do not kill the monks in monasteries, and do not kill those sitting in places of worship. (Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal)

“Do not destroy the villages and towns, do not spoil the cultivated fields and gardens, and do not slaughter the cattle.” (Sahih Bukhari; Sunan Abu Dawud)

“Do not wish for an encounter with the enemy; pray to God to grant you security; but when you [are forced to] encounter them, exercise patience.” (Sahih Muslim)

“Accustom yourselves to do good if people do good, and to not do wrong even if they commit evil.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
