Downstairs - got one of those £70ish Honeywell column fans. Looks like a hi-fi speaker.
Upstairs - £280 Challenge air-con.

Both from Argos.

A shame we can't decide what equipment to have at work. We just get what's already there, which are those desktop fans with buttons yellowed with about 20 years of age. Employment law has a lower limit of 16C but no upper limit. So I sweat it and stink the place out because those desktop fans do nothing. Our department recently ok'd a £140 office chair for one of us, so don't know why they can't ok a £70 Honeywell

Budgets and all that ********.
