So, Before I had just a loop for the cpu and now I've gone full loop the GPU will normally sit at 46c under load where is the CPU went from 22 idle to 40 idle?? Why the huge jump in temps, I have two twin rads and ones a duel thickness.

Shouldn't the temp lower more rather than jump higher? The cpu wont even run prime without touching 90c! Which I then stop because screw going higher :( Its rather disappointing

Any chance of a little more information on the system?

E.g. what GPU is it? Radiators you're using ?

I presume the water's flowing OK (e.g. no kinks)

When you installed the GPU into the loop did you disturb the CPU block?

CPU block is fine, Re-seated it like 4 times with the same problems :(

The GPU is a 780TI, Now running insanely cool.

Waterflow is fine, No kinks etc.

Would crappy fans on the rad cause these heat issues? Am running case fans on a rad for now until my SPs come through the post?

Sounds like either a bad mount on the CPU or an air bubble. Have you rocked/bled the loop properly? A bad mount is probably unlikely since you've reseated a few times. Is the CPU delidded?

Ill try remounting it again i guess. No delid its a devils gen not a fan of doing that to such a new cpu...

Ill try more rocking i guess as well

Tbh it sounds about right, my cpu temps jumped up when I installed a gpu into the loop and jumped even higher in particular at load when I added a 2nd gpu into the loop. You're dumping more heat into the loop that your radiator needs to get rid of so your temps are going to be higher at idle.

Fairly normal if you ask me. My idle temps at 4.4ghz OC is around 41C atm with both gpu's at 32. This is after some fine tuning with the voltages.

I'd be tempted to reverse order.

Cpu > Gpu, see what happens...

Q, is the GPU and a couple of other pipes the only recent additions or was the 2nd rad a new thing aswell?

I've had a couple of instances in the past where the cpu block gets gunk inside it - just bits of crap that accumulate and cause extra heat from jigging the system around.

try giving it a clean if all else fails. ;)
