Well here goes.
Today I recieve an email from my employer who is an agency that pays me until I get employment from the people I am doing the job for ( I am deliberately leaving out names here). The email states, please make sure all your timesheets are submitted, we processed the payslips for this month yesterday.
before I go any further let me explain the system. Every week we fill out what we work in hours on an online time sheet the submit those payslips to a manager to be accepted, if they are not accepted or denied, we do not get pay for that week until it is submitted, meaning if a payslip is late, I can go weeks or even a month out of pocket.
As usual I check to make sure that it has been submitted, to my suprise, once again, my payslip has not even been looked at. So I check into why, the person who I am supposed to submit to went out of office last week and didnt bother telling me or the other employees affected by this. Therefore I will be out of pay by about £200, which is bad enough, but its a 5 weeks until the next payday.
This means I have to live off £600 over 5 weeks, this is stupid, I am trying to get this sorted through the agency that I work for but if it doesnt, I may have to go and see CAB as this is not the first time this has happened.
any advice, I am in the mood to spend all the money they are paying me this month to take legal action but that would just be silly as I wil be eating badly enough if it isnt sorted lol.
