Do you like your job?

Yeah, I suppose so :p I'm out on the road 5 days a week delivering laundry. I hate who I work for though, the managment team are completely useless & would be better off running a brewery. When they do, I'd like to see them organise a beer festival there & see how much they can mess that up.

Yes, I love my job - it was only supposed to be a temporary thing (in my mind) when I decided to move back to the UK but now I've been at the same company for 10 years.

If I started hating my job I'd go contracting again.

Bit of an open question but do you like your job?

I absolutely love my job and look forward to waking up every single day to see what the day might bring.

Actually, I don't have a job - unless you count being a trophy husband as a job :-)

Love the people I work with, Generally love the job - can be a little dull at times but other times very challenging so a nice mix. Get to wear what I want and have a laugh with the customers.

Decent work life balance now so all good!

I have a great job. A mother **** ton of responsibility mixed with mind bending analyses and puzzle solving. Being batman is pretty awesome.

The negative is the oppressive working hours.

My job is stressfull having to diffuse arguing before it escalates, includes cleaning and chef duties, really horrible hours 6am-8pm 7days a week, no official break in between the 'shift'.

And yet I Love my job.....

I am
a Full Time Father

Also, I think there are three factors to consider - pay, work life balance and enjoyability.

The best jobs score highly on all three. Further to my post above I'd say the benefits of pay and enjoyability soften the blow of the hours worked.... But not always!

Love my job too, could do the same in private industry and earn much more money, but I prefer working in my school, where I can see the difference what I do makes.
My technicians are great to work with, the schools senior management are brilliant and the rest of the staff, teachers and support staff are all great.

I love my job, I work as a tier 2 helpdesk analyst but do so much more, interact with awesome people on a day-to-day basis and if I walk in 2 hours late it doesn't matter, same if I want to leave early. The understanding is that if needed I will be there which has meant 14 hour days some times so flexibility is there.

I don't 'love' my job but I don't mind turning up every day to do it.
I've put lots of working methods in so I can do my job easier (and do lots more) and my Managers do appreciate me.
I'm not paid enough to be stressed so I never allow it although we are a very busy department of 5 people and my commute to work is stress free now I have a route which doesn't involve motorists trying to kill me.

I've never understood (as a parent) why people try and justify full time parenting as being a job. It really isn't. I'm doing this 'job' right now, playing with Lego while watching the F1 practice and waiting for the paddling pool to be warm enough. Such a hard life. :p

I enjoy my job but the money could be a lot better. I only work 3 sometimes 4 days a week. I could work 6 days if I wanted too but then I rather have more me time:)

I have far too many interests & hobbies which work distracts me from to love it. But I do like the people I work directly with & I'm given a fair amount of autonomy in my role which is a huge perk for me.

I like my job, I like the variety and the challenge. I like the money, I like my boss and never get hassled or bothered. I am expected to do my job and am left to do whatever I like to ensure I deliver.
