It must be about 10 years since i've had to RMA any kind of drive, I guess i'm lucky but anyway my SSD died and I raised an RMA online last night.
First thing this morning I getting a call from Intel UK to talk about the RMA, what they are going to do, how long things should take, that they will arrange collection of the old drive for free, etc.
Very good Customer Service in my opinion! Still waiting for the details over email but so nice to actually have someone call you after something simple like a two year old SSD giving up the will to live.
Update:
--------------------
My opinion is souring. I called DHL to arrange a collection and they came and got it same day form my work.
Then they drop the parcel off saying it needs more paperwork - a waybill
I message Intel and get a call back the next morning. They said to leave it with them as i don't need one.
A few days later and the parcel is still sat at work.
Great for customer service but I think their process needs a lot of work.
