Awesome Value– Besides the great games in The Vault, EA Access members will save 10% on purchases of EA digital content for Xbox One offered through the Xbox Games Store. From full digital-download titles like the upcoming Dragon Age™ Inquisition or NHL®15, to additional membership services such as Battlefield 4 Premium or even FIFA Ultimate Team points, it’s all 10% off for members.*

Play First – Membership in EA Access lets you experience trials of new EA games up to five days before the release date.* It starts with Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, but more are on the way. If you decide to buy the game, your progress will carry over so you can pick up right where you left off.

Well that seems like a silly deal! Prices in USD but coming to Europe too.

Wouldn't be especially suprised to see a direct £/$ conversion

It does look to be a good deal, especially if you're always buying the latest version of FIFA etc..

Personally will hold off & see what they offer later down the line

30 dollars a year is a nicer price point, not bad for free fifa, madden and bf4.

You don't get them free, you can trial them 5 days earlier than everyone else but then I'm assuming you'll have to pay for them.

edit - read the article on the link. I'd pay $30 a year to play them games on an unlimited basis.

Just saw this elsewhere - damn pleased as it in a roundabout way will pretty much guarantee not buying an EA publshed game again - as its an habit thats hard to kick...

ps3ud0

So EA plan to charge people for a discount on games that are mind bogglingly over priced in the first place?

By the time they add any newer titles like Dragon Age or w/e, it'd be about ~£15 in the shops anyway? Yeah it also has 10% off the newer titles on release but if they're already overpriced in the xbox store then, it might still be cheaper elsewhere... You'd have to play and buy a lot of EA games/dlc to make this worth it imo, which if you do then seems like a good deal.

I like this idea, if they added more games to it for £23 per year its a steal. After a year how many games do you still play? and by then they will have like no re sell value.

If they added the latest releases constantly and added their back library, I would pay £30-£50 p/y. Considering I buy 10+ games per year and unless the online is really good normally don't play after the first walkthrough and occasionally the second walkthrough it's priced great.

10% off already overpriced digital copies of games that, discount included, would still be cheaper at the local supermarket and paying to play demo's? Thats a big no from me then

I bet it will be 6 months before the games anyone wants to play will be added to the vault

For £20 a year getting their six month old games (even year old games) is a ridiculously good deal

If you decide to get their games digitally, you'll save around a fiver or £4 each time, so if you get 2 games its costing you even less, pretty good deal in my eyes

Not entirely sure that EA have the variety of games at the moment to make this worthwhile given their current tendency for annualised multiplayer focused games, you'd end up be 6 months to a year out of sync with the games online community.

It still isn't bad for at least 5 games a year. Plenty of people still play them after the others have been released anyway. If you care that much about being in sync you'll buy it at release.

The only thing that really annoys me if that its Xbox One... so they are getting every EA game 5 days earlier than PS4? :/

Alright well if you want to buy their multi player focussed games as soon as they come out.

10% off BF/FIFA/NHL/Madden/(UFC now?)

Then their non annual releases Battlefront/Mirrors Edge/Dragon Age Inquisition/Peggle/NFS/PvZ

If you plan on getting four of those games a year its likely paid for itself (assuming you want to go digital), if you get less you're paying a very small annual fee for access to some good older games (assuming they add most of them)

Not worth it as the physical games are far cheaper and you can sell them once you realise it's the same turd as last year again.

PS Now seems well over priced now, and its a streaming service.

To put it another way, this is cheaper than Netflix loo.
