no batt or heat issues here, i was getting wireless charging issues(heat) with cheap case now that changed the w.charging works perfectly as well
 
My phone got very hot when using it as a sat nav, but I'm running pre-release software and it was 30C through glass, so I'm not at all surprised.

Mine would get warm at the bottom speaker end towards the back on some occasions like gaming etc, but nothing overly excessive.
 
Thank you for the replies, sounds like the heat thingy could be a combination of little things rather than a design issue.
Still quite like the look of the 1520 but that may be too big!
 
Is anyone else still having charging issues with puck charger? I'm still not sure if it's the position or heat build up during charging... Can anyone take a pic of exactly where they place the puck on the back of the phone for me to confirm if I'm an idiot or if my phone or charging pad is faulty?

Other than this issue, I'm loving the phone and the battery life is superb, I think id easily get 2 days out of a full charge.

hi mate half way between the power and camera buttons but on the centre line of the phone and it works all the time. if you have a case on take it off to see if its causing heat build up. I've two cases one is fine the 2nd causes overheating when I charge wirelessly
 
Anyone bought from Amazon and got the wireless pack?

I noticed buried in the T&C's that the wireless pack is limited to the first 800 customers online (potentially between all the retailers)?

Thanks, not sure if I have actually tried it that far down but will check if it works.

I am currently using the extra charging pad that came in my free bundle.

The odd thing is that I have received the bundle from the lumia offer site (green speaker) but not the Carphone Warehouse sourced on which was suppose to be delivered on Monday (White speaker). I'll just wait and see if it turns up, but if it doesn't, I'm not too worried.

Their is something nice with the packaging being that small they can fit it through the letter box instead of missing the delivery!
