they say your school days were the best days of your life , would you agree?

I suppose a computer forum is a bit of a biased audience, I doubt many people get into computers due to a high level of social acceptance and enjoyment.

you also gets people who say that your school days were the best days of your life , would you say thats true for you?

'Those who have not been to university may say this, but they are &*&^*&* idiots who didn't get to experience proper parties and antics.'

My maths teacher, to us, aged 17/18.

Same man told us, that each year the school caretaker got out his big set of bolt cutters, so when the chain went round the school gate to lock it as a prank, he could walk down and cut the chain off. He urged us to do something smart, such as hide the bolt cutter first.

He was then off, diagnosed with a malignant melanoma, which killed him 2 years later, but during treatment, we decided it would be best to heed his advice. Using some procured supplies, we used out vast (limited) knowledge of a-level chemistry and utilised a thermite reaction to melt/warp/distort the school gates together.

:) Thank you, Mr Maths teacher.

As i've never actually managed to leave education yet - still three years to go if it works out  - I have to say it's pretty decent, but my first year of uni seems to have been by far the best. Living at home lets me be with old friends and new friends while saving some cash for parties notepads. :)

I do miss having no revision to do, or at least not have to take it too seriously. But whatever, the three month summer break is good.

Primary school yes.
Secondary school was basically £15k a year prison.
Other secondary school was fun until I got expelled after 3 months.
Uni was terrible (Because I chose not to live in halls and spent all my money on a mk3 1.4 golf (epic fail)).

I only ever liked one year of my school life as we were all in the same class with my friends, in the wisdom of the school they split us all up into different class groups. I ended up with horrible people, bullies etc and school ended up bad. Never liked school and generally don't like people that much either

Last year of primary school was the best for me. Lots of school trips and afternoons in the outdoor pool which was great.

No. I hated how condescending teachers were and I was tired of full time time education towards the end when lessons were much more interesting.

Sort of. Lower school was pretty rubbish, though I had a great group of friends, and sixth form was just parties day after day with no responsibility or financial concerns. First year of uni was probably more varied, but nothing beat 6th form for sheer fun and ridiculousness.
