*** Nokia Lumia 930 ***

Really can't decide about this phone. After a few days' use I do really like it. Perhaps I am too engrained with Apple. Can't decide if this is a £400 phone or not......On a positive note it has all but two of the apps I need.

I wish I could be more decisive.

Also, I think the volume buttons are faulty. They work but they are all but flush with the case.

Luckily I have 30 days to try, mind you if I am keeping it may need to get a replacement because of the volume button issue.
 
Bah, I've ordered a replacement from Amazon.

One thing maybe someone can help with is favourites? It syncs the favourites from my desktop but only the ones in folders, am I doing something wrong?
 
Update: replacement is here and the volume rocker is much better, the back doesn't creak and the screen seems to have less of a hue about it. It does seem to like getting warm though, that said it's had a hammering this last hour setting it back up

click the word favourites while viewing the list of folders and it will show the ones not in folders

You sir are freakin awesome!

The heat thing has settled down now and quite frankly this new handset is night and day better in build quality, especially the screen!

i got a duel pro case from amazon.com came quick. I am a fan of otterbox commuter cases and this is a slightly less protective version of that. lovely quality. the same company (incepo ?) do a slimmer case as well.

Yes I've been looking at those too. So far really loving the phone, I still have iphone 6 in the back of my mind. Shall see what update 1 brings, hopefully it will be out tomorrow??
 
There's a developer preview update for wp8.1 coming out. Brings a handful if improvements. Most notably live. Folders, IE11 improvements and a uk cortana.
 
Cool be interesting to see when that gos mainstream.rather than preview.mind you I have no interest in cortina
 
Is the video recording on the phone not up to scratch? Was going through some vid reviews last night and one said the 1080p video quality was lacking. Seen some examples and it looks good to me, just not sure if the reviewer was trying to find something to whinge about.
