I think it works best to think of GD as a giant ballpool. It looks like fun from the outside and keeps all the kids happily entertained and contained, but if you look too closely you'll see it's all sticky and gross and there's a dead badger in the bottom.

I honestly think that GD is all a bit of a laugh and a joke. Nothing should be taken seriously unless indicated and you should definitely not use this as your only source of advice because you will either be waiting a long time for a serious answer or not get one at all

This - it does raise a few laughs. Sometimes something special happens like a fundraiser but for the most part it's a playground.
