Your best WWII (or even WWI) games?

Looking for some suggestions, as title.

Best I can think of was Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, which I've still got boxed and might re-install.

Any others out there similar, with lots of atmosphere and narrative and preferably FPS style? (not RTS, though open to suggestion I guess)....
 
well as for the old ones, classic ones are usually pretty good

those are my 2 fave WW2 games ATM, I havent tried RO2 so I cant comment on that one.
 
Played all the call of Dutys (the old, good ones anyway before they all became the same and I lost interest) I think I must have sold them on :-(

Is RTCW the old one, or the new Wolfenstein??

If you want something pretty modern then you don't have that many options as everything seems to be following the Modern Warfare template lately. Red Orchestra 2 had a really bad launch but after a couple of years it's now (in my opinion) one of the best multiplayer FPS games out there, so immersive and so rewarding to play. Rising Storm is the expansion set in the Pacific Theatre and it's a very polished effort.

The old one. The MP was some of the best fun I have had online
 
As mentioned, Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm are easily the best WWII fps games out if you like multiplayer.
 
The original COD games by an absolute mile...so incredibly immersive with surround sound cranked up and some of the set pieces had me on the edge of my seat.
 
cod 1 and uo best fps games ive played. music skill learning and sound.

people rate cod 2 but i hated it too easy in comparision and ushered in console fps games (was the launch game for xbox 360 says it all ) . there was aeven a boycott by server owners over it .
