Was really hoping Adaptation was 90s but it wasn't so went with Being John.

1980s was my era for films, where 90s was more about music for me :-)

I was wondering if someone would make that mistake. :p Still 1979 is close enough. :D

Am now waiting for someone to point out a film in my list that wasn't either 80s or 90s. :D

Agreed. Films had a certain charm back in those days, that they just can't recreate now, at least that's how I see it. The amount of films since 2000 that I would consider among my favourites, pale compared to the number of films from the 80s and 90s.
