Your best WWII (or even WWI) games?

Valiant hearts is a great WW1 game, very emotive.

CoD 1 and UO left a big impression on me, some of my most engaging moments in gaming.

CoH was great too.

COD2 and World at War is what comes to mind right off the bat. Another one is Brothers in Arms I think it was called? Basically a tactical FPS made by Ubisoft I think. Quite old now though don't know if it'll play on modern systems.

Best WW1 game I've ever played as a mod for HL1 called "trenches". Single shot weapons only and swordplay. Great fun and rewarded patience.

-Medal of Honor: Allied Assault & Spearhead.
-Medal of Honor: Airborne.
-Call of Duty: 1, 2 & 3.
-Call of Duty: United Offensive.
-Call of Duty: World at War.
-Battlefield: 1942 & 1943.
-Battlefield: Heroes.
-Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
-Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
-Wolfenstein: 2009.
-Command & Conquer: Red Alert series.
-Hidden and Dangerous.

To be fair BiA:HH is one of the better ones, the only competition really is the CoD series and MoH:PA.

Important: Don't bother trying the earlier BiA games, they are not in remotely the same league as HH in terms of fun and storyline.

As mentioned, Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm are easily the best WWII fps games out if you like multiplayer.

Agreed. Hands down one of my favourite shooters. Nothing quite as satisfying as a headshot with a scopeless bolt action.

I think there's an undercover SuP3Rl33TqUICKscoapER in me somwehere

Best multiplayer PC fps I ever played :)

Single player wise I liked Hidden and Dangerous (didn't like what they did with the map/planning screen with the second). A remake or sequel of that would be an insta buy!

Enemy Territory ;)

Oh, you mean the slightly worse, almost carbon copy of RTCW that had poorer maps and less class synergy ;) For all that, it's still the 2nd best mp fps I've played and was truly epic!
