Does the APU's include the console's? PS4 has sold through 10 million units so far, well above the estimations.

Considering AMD provide the CPU/GPU, that can only have helped them.

Wow, nice results there for AMD. Discrete gpu shipments up 30%. It's all the OcuK folk switching over to 290's i swear. :p

I would love to see a breakdown of GPUs sold from each company (excluding Intel). I would imagine that cards like the 260X and 750Ti are the most popular.

last year market share
AMD 21%
Nvidia 16%
Intel 61% .... WTF
why a company this crappy with graphics holds 61%, who cares about integrated graphics....i dont like this, including cpu in gpu market, these intel igp and amd apu, arn't they included in cpu market share ??? if yes why are they also included in gpu market share ? i dont get it

Because they're in pretty much every cpu they ship i guess. :D

I think these reflect a more accurate figure in terms of graphics used for gaming, which is more relevant to AMD / Nvidia. Nvidia have actually lost a little market-share to AMD. Was 52% not to long ago..

You can get the numbers without Intel's integrated stuff - last time I looked it was 63.xx% nVidia, 36.xx% AMD for Q2 2014 but they don't seem to have published latest numbers yet.

i remember 2012 AMD had 30 or 31%, and Nvidia 52%; they are both down, meaning intel took over these %, that's even worse
still isn't there a global monitoring for discrete GPU market share every year, other than steam ?
or since nvidia and amd have shareholders the total units sold should be public no ? but iv searched many times and couldn't find anything

Well the free SSD's and memory kit bundles were doing are smashing it for us, we're selling bucket loads of them but not surprising as our online price is competitive or cheapest anyway, then factor in the free stuff and OcUK is crushing its competitors with those bundles. :)

Good to hear. A thriving AMD will keep Nvidia on its toes.
