what I dont undertsand is why when faced at that point with your own death, you read out their prepared statment?

We need a serious clamp down on anyone and everyone showing even the slightest hints of extremism. Just lock them all up or send them to one of the crappy muslim countries that they want to turn us in to
 
We need a government with conviction to get the job done, remember labour wanted to bring in an anti-islamaphobia bill.

I am not frightened of Islam I choose not to accept it, this is not a phobia.

Who knows what's going through your mind when you're in that position, for all they know if they read what they want they'll shoot them or be quick with killing them. If they refuse to cooperate they could be raped or tortured before being killed, maybe after living like hell for however long they actually want to die and want it over as quickly as possible.

It seems that one can't dislike Islam on merit, a dislike of this religion means that you have a phobia of it, you are branded an Islamophobe which then also by definition means you dislike muslims, whether you do or not.
 
This was the worst thing they could have done, they obviously don't understand the psychology of the West and especially the US.

If this was meant to turn public opinion and force the US government into a retreat they have just done the exact opposite. I imagine some people are now desperate for "boots on the ground"
 
I can only think that by watching the video and posting on social media only just fuels their fire into having the desired effect that they are looking for. I'm sickened by the fact that people actually watch this barbaric attack.
